Drake Lands Third U.K. No. 1 Single With 'God's Plan'

Drake performs on the Coachella stage during day 2 of the Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival (Weekend 1) at the Empire Polo Club

Drake has his third U.K. No. 1, as “God's Plan” (Cash Money/Republic/Universal) enters the Official Chart Company countdown at the summit. The soundtrack of The Greatest Showman (Atlantic/Warner) leads the album chart for a third week.
Drake’s track ended the chart week with 6.5 million streams, while “Diplomatic Immunity,” also from his Scary Hours EP, lands on the singles chart at No. 21. The Canadian rapper and vocalist previously topped the U.K. listings with his 2010 collaboration with Rihanna, “What's My Name,” and with the 2016 mega-hit “One Dance.”
South London rapper Ramz' “Barking” (Polydor/Universal) holds at No. 2 as last week's bestseller, Eminem's “River” (Interscope/Universal) featuring Ed Sheeran, falls to No. 3.
Dua Lipa's “IDGAF” (Warner Bros./Warner Music) climbs 14-4 and there's an 8-5 improvement, on the same label, for “Tip Toe” by Jason Derulo featuring French Montana.
Also in the new top 10, “This Is Me” by Keala Settle and The Greatest Showman Ensemble, rises 13-8, while “Breathe” (Polydor/Universal) by Jax Jones featuring Ina Wroldsen, is up 12-9.
The Greatest Showman landed combined units of 39,000 in the chart week, for a running total of 129,000, to stay ahead of the highest new entry, Fall Out Boy's MANIA (Def Jam/Universal), which becomes their third U.K. No. 2. First Aid Kit arrive at No. 3 with Ruins (Columbia/Sony), their first to make the top 10.
Sheeran's ÷ (Divide) falls 3-4 and Eminem's Revival 4-5. There's a new No. 1 on the compilation chart, where MTV Rocks (UMOD/Universal) ends the nine-week reign of Now That's What I Call Music 98 (Sony Music CG/Virgin EMI/Universal).
