Ozzy Osbourne Announces 2018 Farewell World Tour
Ozzy Osbourne of Black Sabbath performs at Ozzfest 2016 at San Manuel Amphitheater on Sept. 24, 2016 in San Bernardino, Calif.
After an expansive five decade career, Ozzy Osbourne is hitting the road one last time for a farewell world tour he swears is the final curtain call.
Don't
be fooled by the word "farewell": - the tour is only beginning in 2018
and is slated to last long into the year 2020. Osbourne said in a
statement, "This will be my final world tour, but I can't say I won't do
some shows here and there." But after 2,500 shows don't expect the 68
year-old heavy metal icon to do something quite this big ever again.
The tour kicks off in Mexico with a solo show, followed by gigs
in Argentina and Brazil before heading over to Europe for six weeks of
concerts.
Longtime collaborators Zakk Wylde (Guitar), Blasko
(Bass), Tommy Clufetos (Drums) and Adam Wakeman (Keyboards) will join
Osbourne for this last hurrah. View all upcoming tour dates on
Osbourne's site, and stay tuned for North American tour date announcements.
