Bruce Springsteen Is a Fan of Kanye West's 'The Life of Pablo'
"I thought that was an amazing creation," he told 'Variety'. "Especially the arrangements."
Kanye West's much-hyped album The Life of Pablo may have been altered and revised a heap, but Bruce Springsteen loved every moment of it. In an interview with Variety, Springsteen shared some of the albums and artists nestled in his iTunes library and praised West's most recent effort.
"I thought that was an amazing creation," he said of West's TLOP. "Especially the arrangements."
Springsteen's music collection spans across all genres and includes the likes of Lin Manuel and the Hamilton soundtrack and Lana Del Rey ("I love her, especially the extended version of her first record [Born to Die: The Paradise Edition]."
In a 2014 interview with NPR, Springsteen called Yeezy "incredible" and admired the rapper for his artistry.
"I saw him on television, he did the song called "Blood on the Leaves" on the Later...With Jools Holland -- it was fantastic, you know. He's a very, I still find him very interesting," he said of West. "But I do listen. I listen to a lot because there's a lot of information in it and it's just fascinating record-making."
