Watch Foo Fighters Cover Beatles With Liam Gallagher, Aerosmith's Joe Perry
Chris Shiflett and Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters perform at Glen Helen Amphitheatre on Oct. 7, 2017 in San Bernardino, Calif
The Foo Fighters
invited some of their favorite bands to share the stage at their
one-day Cal Jam festival Saturday (Oct. 7) in San Bernardino, Calif.
Of course, the Foos-curated event featured blistering live acts like Queens of the Stone Age, Cage the Elephant, Babes in Toyland, Japandroids and Wolf Alice.
Closing out the day, the Foos had some surprises up their sleeves.
They Rick-rolled the crowd, with Rick Astley himself jumping onstage to sing a rocked-out version of "Never Gonna Give You Up."
Later, Aerosmith guitarist
Joe Perry came out for a cover of his band's "Draw the Line" and stayed
as they launched into the Beatles classic "Come Together" with vocals
handled by Liam Gallagher, who performed a solo set earlier in the day.
Gallagher was so into the moment, he jumped into the audience to crowd-surf. Watch fan-shot video here:
